Hario V60

General notes:

Brewing temperatures:

85°C – 89°C for dark roast
92°C – 95°C for light roast

Water used for blooming is two times the amount of ground coffee.

 

Coffee for one: 15gC/250gC (1:15)
Grind 15 grams of coffee.
Shake to level the coffee in the V60.
Bloom with 30g of water for 30 seconds.
Slow and steady circular pour until 250g water is added.
Three gentle stirs with a spoon to keep the motion.
Driptime 2:30 (if not, adjust grinder for future brewing)

 

Coffee for two: 30gC/500gW (1:15)
Gring 30 grams of coffee.
Shake to level the coffee in the V60.
Bloom with 60g of water for 30 seconds.
Slow and steady circular pour until 500g water is added.
(Optional: You can also apply slow center pour after 300g water is added.)
Three gentle stirs with a spoon to keep the motion.
Driptime 2:45~ish (if not, adjust grinder for future brewing)
